Through this site, we want to offer you some unit study ideas using techniques recommended by Charlotte Mason. We will continually offer free resources, free materials, and materials to purchase so you can save time and money in bringing great ideas to your homeschool.
These resources and ideas will show you how to use narration, dictation, copywork, and “living books” centered around a unit study theme you want to teach your children. You will be able to easily use all those Charlotte Mason methods everyone is talking about. We’ll even include the use of lapbooks and notebooking pages that really add to the fun when studying a topic.

Katie, I love your recent entry on using “Living Books” for Math.
I plan to check out PI Day and also look into some of these books.
While reading through your excellent description of how you use these books, I quickly realized it was what I was doing with the All Aboard Math Series to learn multiplication and also the Math Made Easy Series to introduce multiplication – you can read these reviews on the Choosy Homeschooler site.
